    MYM Fundiciones<\/strong> is a steel foundry based in Lekunberri (Navarra), founded in 1998 with the mission of supplying the industry with steel parts using the shellmoulding process. It has been recognized from the beginning for the quality of the parts it produces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A highlight in its history was the expansion in 2013, when it expanded from a 1,440 m\u00b2 plant to a built area of more than 4,000 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Alloy steels<\/div>
      \n

      Alloy steels for casting<\/strong> are carbon steels to which alloying elements (Cr, Mo, Ni, V, W, among others) are added in order to improve specific properties such as mechanical strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance at high temperatures<\/strong>.
      They are mainly used in valves, pumps, turbines, boilers, and pressure components.
      There are grades designed for high temperatures (resistance to creep and oxidation)<\/strong> and grades for low temperatures (cryogenic toughness and impact resistance).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
